A Steady Start & Great Lawns

February 2026

Steady Start

We are seeing a steady more "normal" start to 2026. Both domestic and export seed movement is good as distributors and downstream dealers stock shelves. Major U.S. seed consumption markets are experiencing a real winter, raising hopes for good spring movement once the ground thaws. Our coating, packaging and blend lines have been very active, as is normal for this time of year. Pricing seems to be satisfying both buyers and sellers. There is marginal upward price movement on bluegrass, some clovers, orchardgrass and forage fescue.
