Happy New Year!

As we begin a new calendar year, we want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to all our customers, growers, and industry partners for your continued support and business throughout the past year. We also wish you great success in the year ahead and look forward to strengthening our partnership in the months to come.

Crop/Market Update

Mild temperatures and ample moisture have characterized the past couple of months in the Willamette Valley, promoting strong growth in both new seedlings and established perennial crops. Only recently have temperatures begun to drop. Snowpack in the mountains remains light, but there is still time for accumulation to support stream and creek flows later in the year.

Fall seed shipments have been steady, with many customers already booking early spring needs. Overall, prices remain stable, with the exception of firmer clover markets and continued high prices/ limited supply for orchardgrass.

These New Fescues are the Next-Level Up!

For those who have been in the industry for decades, the latest generation of turf-type tall fescues is nothing short of remarkable compared to what we imagined 25 years ago. These varieties are not only dense, dark, and slower growing, but also resilient, adaptable, and highly disease resistant. Their performance makes them an excellent choice both agronomically and economically

As we enter 2026, we encourage you to upgrade your tall fescue lineup with our four premium varieties—you won’t regret it. Feedback from customers and end-users has been overwhelmingly positive. Below is a quick overview of each. Click on their logos to learn more. Come to the greener side.

Every Inch Counts

Take a look at what we discovered during last year’s bucket study! We examined a single Titan GLX plant grown for less than 270 days—focusing on its roots, crown, and density—and explored why seeding rates matter. You’ll be amazed at the incredible growth packed into just one square inch!
