Variety Summary

Stonehenge II hard fescue is a cool-season perennial turfgrass with bunch-type growth. Its good root structure provides excellent drought resistance and is ideal as a stand-alone utility grass either left unmowed or mowed. Use it in a lawn application to improve drought tolerance. Hard fescue may be used in low maintenance and shade situations with other fine fescues, Kentucky bluegrass, and perennial ryegrass.

Disease Resistance and Wear Tolerance

Stonehenge II exhibited excellent disease resistance in the CTBT 2011-13 trials, particularly against leaf spot, red thread and dollars spot. Additionally, Stonehenge II shows great wear tolerance.
