What is the difference between Nitro-Coat® and Nitro-Coat® Organic? Both deliver the same benefit: A high concentration of the correct Rhizobium applied directly to the legume seed to ensure optimal nodulation. The only difference is the binding agent, how the inoculant and coating are held onto the seed. Our standard Nitro-Coat® process uses a petroleum tackifier. Nitro-Coat® Organic utilizes an all-natural, proprietary adhesive and a process that has been approved by OMRI® for use in organic applications.
