Very Dark Green Color + EXTRA Density & Trafic Tolerance = EXCELLENT Turfgrass

If you need a top-performing, traffic-tolerant, EXTRA-dark perennial ryegrass, look no further than NEXUS XD turf-type perennial ryegrass. This is a turfgrass that works for you. NEXUS XD is naturally very dark green. This means you don’t need to add extra iron to darken the turf. NEXUS XD is perfect for use on fairways, athletic fields, home lawns and other locations where high quality, dark turf is desired. NEXUS XD can also be used for adding dark brilliant color to a bluegrass or tall fescue mixture, as well as for blending with other perennial ryegrass for overseeding applications.

Disease Resistance and Other Strengths
NEXUS XD has shown good resistance to many diseases including pink snow mold, red thread, dollar spot, brown patch, and crown rust. NEXUS XD has also shown good resistance to cold temperatures, winter damage, poa annua, as well as tolerance to the herbicide Velocity® (bispyribac-sodium.).

NEXUS XD is best planted on fertile, neutral pH soils during the cooler seasons of the year, such as spring and fall. If needing to plant during other times, plan on additional overseeding. For a thick, lush turf, the following seeding rates are recommended:
